Yes it is good for long term, if you are a social person or a blogger or free lancer i will also suggest to create a profile on their social platform called steemit and be active and im sure you can earn some free steem dollars there if you post good content regularly.

to be frank i do not recommend you to hold it because as far as i remembered this coin is pump and dump coin.
this coin got pumped so hard a while ago and got dumped so fucking bad too.
if you want to hold,just hold STEEM instead of this shit.
just piece of advice from me,be safe than sorry my friend.
you can find a lot of projects out there with a proper goal,value and potential in term of price and technology other than this one
plus stay away from those scammy exchange,they did this things many times before and they locked the wallet so we can not deposit it.

Although I think steemit is a good project which has a good idea, according to last movements of that coin, I think it is just a pump and dump coin now and not giving a big trust for the future.

Steemit is a great working platform. I see a lot of people here go on about the pump and dump, nearly every coin will be pumped and dumped at some stage. Cryptocurrency is still young and can be manipulated very easy. You can't blame the project for this. You have to look at if the product can be used in the future when crypto is widely used and adapted.

Actually steem dollar is good to buy because steem community also growing. It will be more more people join in steem community. Its interesting.

It's weird. Just checked. SBD (steem dollar) is pretty much below $2 at almost every other exchanges but HitBTC. Here is the current overview:

The question is whether or not you can use this price difference for arbitrage trading, but in my experience there is always some unforeseen problem associated with arbitrages.

Note that there is some difference between STEEM coin and Steem Backed Dollar (SBD), although they both belong to the same platform.

Currently there is no discrepancy when it comes to STEEM,

For me its a good coin and worthy for long term hodling. steem has a bright future because it has a  capacity, a purpose, and useful services to offer thats why im not wondering that steem price value will reach to the top as soon as possible!

SBD coins are created to bring some form of price stability in the Steemit Network, I think SBD is not a good choice for long-term investments because basically, the coin is worth about 1 USD, and my suggestion; ignore the price in HitBTC exchange because the high price in HitBTC is a common thing, this exchange has a high withdrawal fee and usually, the coin that is being pumped has a withdrawal problem

The answer is simple if bitcoin will be still in a dip ( only dump ) then all coins will do the same . So we have to focus first time on bitcoin and after of all this we can go for altcoins . In my opinion steem is a good future

why u not choose STEEM,it;s better than SBD, i guess

I'd be very weary of STEEM dollars and the entire STEEM platform in general. Do a google search and you will find how the founder is associated with many scams. Many people have also posted factual data that shows how the STEEM ecosystem is unsustainable and will crash in the future.

Avoid STEEM like the plague, it's a scam. You have been warned.
