Hi BTCers,

So, with BTC hitting a low today, wanted to get some "by any means available" and I happen to have a surplus on my phone, which is not recoverable unless I want to spend hours actually talking to real people or something.

I was hoping to use this https://blockchain.info/wallet/sms-phone-deposits

But I don't get the button in my wallet Sad I verified my phone number by SMS.

Can't find any info here about it that's recent. I realise the fees will be huge, but don't care, it's otherwise locked up unrecoverable money, and if BTC is cheap it's a good deal.

So is it known for sure they stopped this service, or does my wallet have to "mature" to be able to use it? The demo wallet no longer seems to show it, as a previous thread indicated it did.

Having a lot of trouble finding out ANYTHING about this, apart from that page on blockchain which by it's existance implies that they still do it.

thanks for any info or hints,

Hmmm BTC bouncing back... I understand the payment processor is zipzap, I'm seeing things about zipzap not available on bitinstant, though bitinstant is doing upgrades.... just wondering if it's linked, whether blockchain.info does it through bitinstant through zipzap, or something.
