I need quick help with understanding something in guiminer

First of all, let me just say that while I get the need to block spam, I hate when you can't make normal posts when you join a forum since that's kind of why you join.

Secondly, I don't get something in guiminer. Right now it says that I'm getting 170 khash/s. From my understanding, 1 khash = 1,000 hashes. It also says "hashes: 0" in the corner. Shouldn't that number be going up by 170,000 per second or am I misinterpreting?

Edit: Oh, nevermind. I was using bad search terms apparently. I didn't realize that it meant "Difficulty 1 hashes"=0,  not Difficulty=1 and Hashes=0

It's shares in the corner, every now and then one of the hashes will be successful and you get a share accepted. Just be patient.
