I'm using Armory in two linux machines.
One is online and the other is offline.
I'm using  Armory for a cold storage wallet, signing the transactions on the offline machine.

And I'm also using Armory 0.96.1 on both machines.

I created wallets and made a paper wallet and printed them on the offline machine.

Now I want to test recovering a wallet from the paper wallet not using Armory.

I created a test wallet on the online machine.
When I choose backup wallet-export keys it shows my root key, and Base58 and HexBE formats.

I did the same thing on my off-line machine.
But it only shows my root key.
If I choose receive bicoins and after that I choose again, backup wallet - export keys then I start to see addresses saying private key, Base58 and HexBE.
But because the private key in this address is always different, I think this are related to the addresses to receive bitcoins.

I can restore my wallet created on my offline machine in my online machine because I have the root key.

There is any way to put my root key in Base58 and HexBE formats on my offline machine?
My goal is to also backup them so in case I can't use Armory in any machine, I also be able to recover my wallet in other software.
I think electrum and other software wallets accept Base58 keys.

What you want to do is not recommended with the current state of Armory. The backup format is unique to Armory and other wallets won't be able to make sense of it, because that format predates any standard in the industry. Armory was the first wallet to introduce deterministic wallets and single seed backups. The actual standard is inspired of Armory as a matter of fact.

But I digress. The only way you can "carry" an Armory wallet to another wallet software at the moment is by migrating the private keys. You cannot use the root, therefor you lose the determinism, which in turn may expose you to loses, where you can only save up to a fixed count of private keys but eventually outgrow that list and are now missing keys.

The next version of Armory will conform to the current standard and you will then have an option to backup new wallets in that fashion. Any wallets prior to that won't be eligible however.

I was only testing in worst case scenario.
If I loose my hardware and the only thing I have is a paper wallet.
Can I restore my wallet in another wallet software using the root key?
Then I cant send my funds to a hardware wallet.

Or maybe using a Linux LiveDVD on a machine disconnect from the internet.  Putting bitcoin core client in usb stick and run it in that machine.
And generate a new wallet in bitcoin core client with my root key from the paper wallet.

I don't know if the bitcoin core client can do this not connect to the blockchain.

My goal is the restore a wallet in a safe way. The ideal would be restore the wallet in offline machine but without Armory.

Answer is the same, you cannot do this with the current Armory wallet format. You'll have to wait for the next version that comes with an update to the wallet format.

So no way to extract the BCC after the fork so I can dump them except transferring everything to another wallet before the split? If they're still worth 0.1 BTC at that time then we're leaving a fair bit of money on the table. I expect the price to crash so I wouldn't want to wait.

You can

1) Send your coins to a new wallet as soon as the fork is on (BTC to BTC)

2) Import the private keys from the old wallet into the BCC client

You should be able to spend coins from the BCC client then (BTC to BCC).
