I was looking at a video on youtube about this cluster of raspberry pi 3, and it seemed interesting to mine, but I would like to study everything before buying and building this cluster.

For mining with machines that are controlled by the RPi? Or mining with the RPi itself?

Does it has the computing power to mine?  I thought the ASIC has the highest speed in computing/mining. If it be so, raspberry would make a splash in the bitcoin mining industry.  Aside from not power hungry, it will not produce heat as much as setting up a computer rig with 6 to 8 graphic card in it... Hope to hear the development of this project.

This topic could be moved to the altcoins section.  The cluster would only be feasible mining cpu altcoins.  Pi's are suitable for controlling some miners for bitcoin but most have them embedded already.
