I was doing the byteball drop the other day and I sort of rushed the process and forgot that using the sign message feature actually didn't require me to send anywhere.  I ended up signing a message on a random address from the drop down sign message menu, then sending my coins to it.  Low and behold they did not show up in my wallet.  The cto mentioned on reddit that the address might be derived from a different HD heirarchy not scanned by the wallet, is there a way to force ledger to scan a specific address? Thank you.
