I personally look at :

- Value proposition
- Team (+ Team nationality)
- Roadmap
- Total market cap

I'm sure there are other factors in play but can't name them...!

Team (not nationality), market cap, roadmap. I think these are the most important things to consider when investing in a coin.

I have a strong feeling that whatever comes from China will turn into gold sooner or later. That's what I mean when I say "nationality"

I first look at total market cap of that coin and its volatility in market (how many are getting traded in a day). Then I look its ideas and roadmap. Its very important. Then I look other projects with similar ideas to compare. That's it.

But I have an additional strategy that consumer interest also affects the price of a coin.

Alts are promoted by users holding the coin in hopes of increasing the price and profit. If the community is too small, this part is lacking.
