My first mining rig, any issues?

Hello guys,

Today I decided I want to start mining for real so I selected the following components but this being my first time doing this I hope I can get input from you guys if I should take other components or if you see any incompatibility or issues with the components I have selected!

Here is the list:
   • GPU: 7 x Asus Dual GeForce GTX 1070 OC grafikkort (8 GB)

It looks fine except your CPU is probably overkill.  A simple Pentium or Celeron is usually more than enough... unless you wanted to experiment with mining CPU-only coins.

CPU I would go with an i3. Pentiums get by but celerons do bog down with more than 4 cards. An i5 is too much. If it was me I would do two PSU's. An 850 and a 750. This way you have enough headroom on the wattage and you have enough cables to keep the riser cards at only 2 per. I'd also go for 8 cards instead of 7. You already did all the work, why not max out the rig with one more GPU?

Actually most motherboards I find had only 6 Pci-e. This one has 7 so I don't see how I can add 8 cards into this board?
As for PSU, I will double check, 7 x 150w (gpu) + 65w (cpu) is 1115w so if might be cutting it to close.

Yep for that rig its better to take psu with little more juice. Maybe some 1300w or to go on 6 gpu because they are win 7 friendly.
And yes cpu is overkill but dont use lowest cpu, find something not on end of line.

I have the same board, I'm using a $40 kaby lake g3930 with 4gb ram.
Imo drop the ssd as it's not needed for a dedicated miner, I use a 32gb flash drive running NVOC.
Also this board can support 9 GPU's, you will need to get 2x m.2 to pci adaptors.
