Hi guys, I've known bitcoin for a while (since 2010) but never had the guts to buy it, until now. Just bought an e-book on amazon using amazon gift cards acquired with BTC (since I currently do not own a credit card) and then registered here. Awesome forums, great community, looking foward to contribute as much as possible.

I thought you purchased an ebook using Bitcoin in Amazon .  But I really hope Amazon can cancel their own planned currency and used Bitcoin instead.  Why reinvent the wheel.

Wait, Amazon is planning to create their own new currency? What would be the point in this when they already have gift cards? lol. That's basically their own currency as it is.
