With London scrapping "ladies and gentleman" for "hello everyone" in the Tube station,
Shouldn't they introduce a new event for "I don't know which sex I prefer" genders? I mean there are Gentalemens single/double, ladies single/double and mixed, but where are Lesbian singles/doubles, Gays single/doubles, LG Mixed, Bisexual singles/doubles, LB mixed, GB mixed, Transsexual singles/doubles et cetera.
It's a real insult for LGBT people for not having a equal shares in sporting events.

Agreed. Remember Martina Natratilova? She was lesbian but participate in the women's division and we all know that she is of the all time greats of tennis in the modern era. Other sports don't discriminate as well, you should look at it and you will see at lot from LGBTQ community is well represented. So its been like that even before the LGBTQ movement has began and now universally accepted. And so sports won't just adjust with the situation and I personally don't think we needed that kind of event in tennis. |

There is a reason why we have men's divisions and women's divisions in sports. Men are physically different from women. There....I said it. People who want acceptance and equality when all they are doing is blurring those lines are asking for too much in my opinion, and those who give them acceptance and equality are giving them too much.

I don't see any insulting points any annoucemnt in sports events. No matter what your sexual orientation is, your gender is a woman or a man so we can call lgbt people man or woman. Sexual orientations do not represent our genders.

Covfefe my friend, you're confusing a lack of people identifying themselves as LGBTQ as misrepresentation In sports,which either way they are not being represented because they simply don't need it. It's the same issue with black history month. There's no such thing as white history month is there? So why delegate only 1 month of the year specifically to black history when you can just make it apart of all history.. |

It does not discriminate anyone. They are particularly referring to the main orientation of a man or a woman, you can be whatever you'd like it only pertains as to what is your original sexual orientation.

Can you imagine if there was NBA or NFL events with a mens team vs a womens team? How one sided that would be isn't really fair.
In sports it is supposed to be a level playing field and you play others who are in your weight class or division or skill level. With the winner being the one with superioir skill.
It isn't fair for a lightweight to fight a heavy weight, and probably isn't fair for a man to play a women in tennis. Men statistically have more muscle mass per cubic centimeter than women do. It wouldn't be fair. For a woman to have the same muscle mass as a man she basically has to take testosterone(which gets you disqualified from playing due to performance enhancements).
It may be possible to measure things out and have a leightweight man go up against a heavyweight woman though. Who knows though, this isn't realy happening and requires more science to measure.

Yes, there is nothing wrong in Wimbledon. There were some lesbian players and there may be gay players too in the future. Making a separate division won't prove anything. |

The title of Wimbledon is stated as Gentlemans single/double tournament and Ladies single/double tournament. Don't the Lesbian and Gays hate those words and consider to be offensive insult? |
