I bought a million and I trade every WDC I make for them right now... Even if the coin never sky-rockets, it doesn't matter for me... It looks good to have a million of a coin :-)

DVC == Devcoin, so there's no need to call it DVC Coins. Just fyi


Anyways. I'm a totally biased opinion since I write for devtome, but I think DVC is fantastic because they heavily reward people who actually make things. So it encourages good infrastructure for the currency. Also, since it's merge-mined with BTC, there's no competition with the most visible cryptocurrency available.

And it supports itself. There are literally things in place to make sure the currency stays valuable.

1. People get paid for getting traffic to Devtome, in Devcoin and those Devcoins have to be bought on the exchanges.

2. There are people who owe people billions of devcoins, so they will always be buying them

3. People can create content for coins, meaning there will always be people wanting to sell their coins.
