It is believed that the long awaited official response from the Finance committee isn't expected anytime soon or perhaps it has not been released in the public domain yet.

So in the lieu of such long awaited response we will be filing a few RTIs in the coming weeks before the following:

-  Before the RBI asking them to explain the legal stand on cryptocurrency
-  Before RBI seeking clarification on legal action if any to be implemented for cryptocurrency usage/dealing in cryptocurrency
-  Before the law enforcement agency who is responsible to handle cryptocurrency cases

At least 5 RTIs will have to be filed in this regard.

I would share the report with interested community members.

Who are this 'we' and where u r based at in India?

I think, the same should be filed before SEBI as well, because cryptocurrency is more like a product of commodity market.

At least 5 RTIs will have to be filed in this regard.
Great initiative indeed. How long it might take to know the outcome?
