Hello! As the title suggests, I would like to know some basic stuff in creating a Bitcoin Exchange such as:

1) Is downloading the whole Bitcoin Core necessary for "Bitcoin Server"? (Other alternatives?)
2) What is the most secure Hardware Wallet for cold Storage? (Trezor vs Ledger etc etc)
3) Bitcoin Client? (electrum vs armory)

Any other information is much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

1. If you are planning to run a serious business then yes, an exchange usually handle a lot of requests and third party APIs usually have limits so It's better to run your own node.
2. Whatever fits you really, both of them are good. You can find a lot of comparisons on the internet but they usually end up by recommending both since It's all about personal preferences.
3. If I had to choose I'd go with Electrum as downloading the blockchain is not required. (not sure how this is related to your exchange though)
