Seriously, stop trying to scam other people. Everywhere you can find newbies asking for high loans and providing no collateral. People aren't stupid, just stop this useless spam! One negative trust and your account is useless, not that it was useful in the first place. Do you see the pinned topics in the Lending Forum, they are warning everyone about scams, just don't do it.

Well...there is also a slight possibility you don't know how lending works (I doubt that's the case.) When you borrow from other people, you have to provide sufficient collateral. Without collateral, no one can trust you with their money, even if you are not attempting to scam.

Higher members, please take a few minutes of your time and give scammers a negative trust, it'll be very helpful to your fellow members.

And also those newbies are not asking for a loan... they are begging for a "donation" not a loan, i am sure that 100% of them doesnt even think about the repayment.
I am tired of seing that kind of people in this forum, and all of them are newbies, that makes us to think that all newbies are the same.
This is just like going for a bank and ask for a loan of $100k without any good or just without a job.. that is insane.

Even though I'm new to the forum I've read the rules and I have guarantees for the loans, plus there are people who do not take time out of their day to read the rules.

Yeah, I'm also semi-new to Bitcointalk and have read the rules, etc. I guess most newbies ignore them on purpose and skip to the scamming part.

Most of them are the same person just hoping that someone is stupid enough to lend (or donate as Youghoor put it) to them. Its rare to see newbies offer valid collateral, but I do respect those who do, but not enough to fully trust them in the long run. Mainly due to some doing trust farming only to build up for some big exit.

Always require collateral when lending someone, even if they are a Hero Member. Some accounts might have been hacked or bought, which could allow them to scam others.

Except spam, I do not see the problem, that newbie asking un-collateral loans. I've never seen such a loan granted, does not matter tagged account or not(i am not again tagging).
The biggest loan defaulter  is accounts, higher ranks( I think according to the amount of loss- hero and legendary)

Spam isn't a problem? The possibility of someone getting scammed isn't a problem?

What do you suggest? Change the rules of forum?

Flag the scammers, spread the word, have everyone be careful. It's the best we can do.

You can only wish that they would stop.

Scammers are continue to try to scam. There is really nothing you can do to stop them from creating new lending threads. I think that the lending section should be open to junior members and up to avoid newbie loan spammers, but then it would also filter out those who have valid collateral and are newbies.

Anyways, at least the majority of communty knows that newbies can't be trusted without collateral now. So there isn't much damage that can be done.
