Where did my bitcoin gold go? missing ~0.5

OK, so i got a idea, on the 20/10-2017 i had 1.38 BTC. i have not recived any BTC since then on my account. i've sent very small sums of BTC tho, today i moved 1.36 BTC. i checked all 5 adresses that contributed to the transaction, got all 5 private keys but i only got 0.5 Bitcoin gold? i'm missing at least 0.5 more



maybe i'm tired from work or blind.

the TX i did today to locate all the addresses with bitcoin gold on them. (i hade trouble finding them since i had so many private keys)

I suspect that what has happened, is that the BTC addresses that actually had coins BEFORE the fork (and now have BTG), were already used in your BTC withdrawal transactions AFTER the fork... so your BTC transaction today, was using different addresses/UTXOs than what existed in your wallet when the fork happened.

You will need to look through ALL your BTC addresses from Electrum ("View - Show Addresses")... and find ones that have a "TX" value greater than 0 (This means they have received coins at some point in time). Then check each one on http://btgexplorer.com to find the ones that actually still have BTG balance.

Just checked all my adresses on electrum with a tx value higher then 0, found nothing

Did you check all your change addresses? or only the receive addresses? If that balance showing at 20/10/2017 was accurate, then your BTG are still on your BTC address(es) somewhere!

i found them! i exported all my adresses + Private keys ~900, went through them one by one lol, found the last coins on the 3rd last adress ...
