I love the idea of building a virtual reality.
I don't care about MANA as an investment or future rates.
I just want to participate in building this world.
But... I neither have coding skills nor ethereum know-how.
What skills do you need?
Is it hard to learn those skills?
When will iron age start?
Whitepaper didn't help me.

So this my opinion.
From your question I answered "Yes" you need basic coding skill.
1. Basic computer knowledge of course you need this after that you can try to learn coding basic (C++,php, java etc)
2. It depends on your will (coincidentally I'm a college student and part-timer on informatics engineering company) and my knowledge to learn basic above takes about 1-3 months, that's just the basics the next level may take a while time.
3. Only God and (Rotschild?) knows

Sorry if something wrong I'm still learning too.

Good luck!

Thanks for your reply Gabriel.
Do you know which coding language will be used for designing the virtual reality world?
P.S. Thought Rotschild = god Wink

Actually I have not really understood the concept of vr and have not been interested to learn it haha, but from my knowledge using C#, C ++ with OpenGL and directx for basic and there is something to do with Unreal, Unity etc.
Probably just that much according to my knowledge, you can try search on the VRTALK or similar forums for more details or maybe you can try search on the development section in this forum. Good luck!
