The answer is NO.

If you look at the number of transactions done per day for Monero it's pitifully low - 4,624 in the last 24 hours:

https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/monero-transactions.html

People who are into cryptocurrency are more atuned to privacy issues than the general public, and even they arn't in a rush to adopt Monero.

How many people on here use it as their primary cryptocurrency? And if you are not using it, why do you expect others will use it?

Cryptocurrency is still very young and difficult to use; heck, most people I talk to still have'nt heard of Bitcoin much less the alt-coins. Developers are currently trying to make it easier for the average person to use Bitcoin and alt-coins.

Coinomi is a mobile wallet that is going in that direction. There was a review of coinomi just a few days ago on 99bitcoins and here is a direct qoute from that article:

"The biggest reason the Coinomi user base continues to expand is due to the enhanced privacy they offer with their service"

https://99bitcoins.com/coinomi-wallet-review/

BTW, Zencash will be availible on Coinomi in about a week.

This aspect of the crypto space is going to get very big.

As for which privacy coin is better:

Zencash is Zcash with improvements: Zencash will have Secure Nodes in about three or four weeks making it very unuiqe among privacy coins. It will also have encrypted comminications. Also, someone is already running 5 dedicated nodes over the Tor network for added security.

Obviously, I'm a big Zencash fan and think it will have explosive growth over the next 4 months, but I also think all of the privacy coins will only grow bigger in the forseeable future.

As far as i can see, Maybe yes. It's because our privacy could take be against us and we need this in the future to secure our transaction history. this would dominate the cryptocurrency world since a lot of people would benefit of this anonymity.

And i think a lot of cryptocurrencies now is making a their step to make a high level security on the cryptocurrency world.

Yes, there is always going to be a demand for anonymity for various reasons.

Some people want to evade taxes, some want to do other illegal business, some just simply don't want their bank to know how they spend their money in general, others would want to hide their purchase of certain items (adult entertainment for example).
There's countless legal and illegal incentives to a monetary system that respects your privacy, so it's just a question of who will offer the best protection in the long run.

It depends on how developers develop for that coin. The path of every coin depends on the developers, just as they are talented and they have the heart, they can do everything.

zenCash = privacy coin with great extras(text messages.. chat.. docs... works in possible banned country.. profits to the people keeping the network with secure nodes), it´s the next big thing.
