Stability in itself is can mean different for different people. However, like many people mentioned here, Crypto world is quite dynamic and volatile. One should invest only what they can lose. There are few coins which have been around for quite sometime and have given more or less good returns. They are-

NET
OHM
808 etc etc....

You can start with these first and to get a feel of altcoin. The ones mentioned above are POS coins.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks and have a nice day.

Usually in the world of crypto you can't predict which coin is stable but as i can feel that xrp, ETH, etc, LTC are more stable coin compared to other and also have a great potential for long term.

This is an article posted earlier today talking about more stable altcoins. Obviously there is less upside with coins like these, but I wondered what everyone thought?

The only "stable" altcoin is USDT, just because they base their price by the dollar which has less volatility. All other coins are based on supply and demand, they act like an asset.

Tether is also a cryptocurrency, but its value listed and we cannot change this value easy. Only exchanger in our country can do that when the value of dollar falls down like the Forex market Grin
