So, I want them to send me btc as payment for my work but they have no idea as to how they can do this.
One guy had an ATM in his city but did not have the courage. Is there a service like paypal so I can get them to send me btc easily? All the explanations on the internet are for technical folks like you and me. Also, exchanges like Cex.io etc. are asking too much personal information, which scares people into thinking that there will be identity theft and such.

i never heard something like that before and never found something like paypal before(probably).
how about using 3rd party to get the transaction ?
for example find someone or seller in this forum or somewhere else that need a cash,
find the people who has a same currency with him and it would be better they are in the same country so he can easily send it to the Bitcoin seller and then Bitcoin seller send it to you.
but this method is very risky unless you are using an escrow for your trade.
i think it was the easiest way to do the trade while he do not need to learn anything about Bitcoin and the only he need to do is send his money to the seller.

You can tell them to use a digital exchange site such as PayBis to pay you. All they need to do is convert the PayPal money to bitcoins using paybis then input your address on the receivers box. You need to tell them your address and instruct them well so they don't mistakenly send it to another bitcoin address.
