As you said, bitcoin and the blockchain technology is as the internet in the latest 80's, and, as well as the internet in this period, people are used to finding it too complicated. If you remember the whole process of change the internet has suffered from the past three decades, one thing is obvious: the development of tools easier to understand made able the approach by the common people to this technology. When computers began to use a graphics mode with those ancients windows like the 3.11, the people began to approach the computers, something they were used to be for professionals only. Meantime, platforms like Yahoo o messenger began to ease the communication between people, the emails clients as the old Arrakis, and co.
Now, we have the blockchain technology rising up. This is the beginning of the internet "money" and currency of exchange. As well as had happened with the other's advances, as in communication, the blockchain tech will be taking its place, step by step. Do not forget one point: internet advances grow really fast. Those who understood at the very beginning the google potential, for instance, are millionaires now. For they believed in the opportunity and took it. Of course, the mere system of a search engine was somehow abstract at the very beginning, and I'm sure, difficult to many. But, with time, Google is used by my grandparents daily, for it made its own path towards easiness in its use. This is happening the same in here. Yes, this can be difficult for many to understand the abstract system of the crypto world, all those new and strange concepts, and the use of a wallet. Yes, of course. But, eventually, they will be made some platforms to ease their lives. The problem? It will be late for them. They will be able to use the tools, but this is going to be late in the sense of investment.
An early approach always opens doors for those willing to learn. Yes, it is difficult. But it worthly.
