The ever-increasing number of altcoins and cryptocurrencies has been overwhelming and made me wonder how many bitcointalk users are actually coin developers. Are you one of them? Do you create coin from scratch or do you clone them? What is your favorite algorithm? Do you prefer pure PoS, pure PoW, or hybrid?

This area of development is a tricky business, I've been developing business software for about 20 years and that's a walk in the park compared to someone that can do cross platform C programming and has extensive knowledge of cryptography.

I want to start getting into it more by building by own version of the SYNX wallet and merging in some some of the freezing fixes for practice.  Then maybe look into the broken encrypted chat feature in the Crave wallet.

No i'm not a coin developer yet! but i have plans for the future including developing a project that i believe will be very popular. There is still time for it tho. Good things await.

I'm not and I don't think there are many around here... Would be great if one could make some kind of overview tutorial just to grasp the general idea.
