I have got my first B3+ from Panda miner. It came with an external power supply. There are seven power ports on the panda miner that I connected to the power supply, six actually with the seven port getting the second head of sixth connection.

I did not have the same plug as the power supply so I used a different cable to plug in the power supply to the wall. After connecting everything the power supply turns on but the PandaMiner doesn't turn on even if I press the small button on its surface.

Is it because my power source is 110 V (in USA) and I need to get a transformer to 220 V ?

Anybody who has setup Pandaminer B3+ in USA, can you please share the details. Thanks.

It is a 220V power supply.  you need the correct voltage.  A transformer might work if it can handle the watts (1300W+) but it's going to get very hot, use even more power due to transformer conversion, and may cause a fire if the transformer can't handle it.  You really should either have 240V service (in the USA your electrician can wire this for you), or replace the Panda power supply with a PC one that can handle the watts and has seven PCI-E connectors.  The HP server ones i see often (1200watt model) CAN'T do it because it is 1200watts at 240volts, and only 900watts at 120v.

The pandaminer "on" switch is located on the side of the miner next to the Ethernet port, you need a pin or sharp object to press it. Did you done that already?
