I am trying to devise a plan that implements good times to purchase and sell altcoin. It seems to me that certain coins are popular in certain countries and may be oversold during one time-frame and overbought in another.

I have noticed some slight trends in altcoins that are somewhat accurate that go on a day and night pattern. I am in EST USA and I watch the market fluctuate fairly drastically as the rest of America wakes up. I notice that on certain coins, the price tends to go up during my day, and go down during the night.

I think it may be from Americans buying the coins, and then another time-zone selling during their daytime. And of course, it is not just limited to Americans, it can be vice versa for favored coins in other countries.

I think this day-night pattern could be an interesting trading strategy, but could also be debunked by the fact that many altcoin traders don’t sleep much and are night owls. But it would be interesting to find a coin that follows this pattern!

Do any of you have a coin that you noticed fluctuates through the time zones? If so, which ones? Or do you think this is a whole bunch of horse shit?

The idea is quite interesting. I think we need to investigate some coins that not so popular. Because if it from top 10 or top 20 this will definitely not work.

Yes, I agree. It would have to be smaller coins with a maybe even small volume. I am sure there are regionally specific coins that are grassroots popular! That being said, it would be hard to pinpoint those types of coins as they are probably buried underneath the masses of piles of coins that are being spewed out all over the interweb, lol.

I will try to find a few coins to run this strategy by and post my results.

Seasons are an interesting concept. I wonder of altcoin seasonal fluctuations would correspond with the regular stock market seasonal fluctuations. Do you know of the particular coins that have had seasonal history?

There was another topic on here about christmas and BTC price, conclusion was that BTC price would dip a little bit in november and rise in december. Can't find the topic now  Undecided

If I put more emphasis on the coins that will be exchanged at any time rather than waiting for the day and night changes although the income is lower but not a serious problem.from the hoarding too long but the price also does not go up then I do not care how much profit will be obtained later always remain grateful for the fortune.

The top coins will never get fluctuated because they have complete stability in long run. For getting coins pumped we need to focus on the cheapest coins first. The reason is simple, they are cheap! If there is so much fluctuation in the prices from night to day and season to season then that's because of the pump groups only. Otherwise no coin will go that crazy without any reasons.

Have you seen those coins which are in the later stages of use? They are completely stable and gets influenced only when the major advancement or break through is conducted by the particular ICO. Yes that's the main reason that fluctuates the price for coin. But those with day night fluctuation are the one with pump group behind them.

Or that might be just few of the many pumper groups from the different countries trying to pump the coin popular in their regards and which is reflecting as different time zone pumping to you. But you don't have to go for deep analysis if you know and have experienced the pumps are behind one at specific time. According to that you can go for buying of those coins and when the clock hit to the pumper group timezone you get ready by yourself to make the sell call once they start pumping it. That is like perfect plan according to me and you may wanna share your thoughts if you like it. ;-) It will work for sure according to me and may just be good way to earn extra profits. Thanks to different timezone and off course the clock.

Not sure its about day and night but people tend to dump more in weekends in my opinion. I tried to measure it up and realized they also start bull runs in monday or tuesday in general. Guss people pull money to spend on weekends.
