Hi,

Was wondering, there is a way to know for sure that a transaction will not have a transaction fee?

I Mean, for values higher than 0.01 and regardless of the client settings (which i can't set)

regards

From my understanding you want the transaction fee included because it allows your transaction to be confirmed sooner. Vets correct me if I'm wrong.

There are 3 ways to make a transaction with small amounts of Btc:
1) Bundle them with higher amounts with coin control
2) Send them as raw transaction without any fee/use a client without fees (chance that they will be lost in limbo, also raw transactions aren't easy to do)
3) Wait for them to be free (~probably years, depending on what "small" is)

Those links should be in the "Newbie Readme" sticky thread. Very helpful. The clearest explanation of it all that I have seen so far. Thanks.

In most wallets, you can set your transaction fee to whatever amount that you wish.

Seems the 0,01 was from many free faucet sites. I have the same problem
