In my opinion DPOS is the future because of how little energy is needed and the super high staking rewards. I think these 3 coins will do VERY well.

1) RISE
2) LISK
3) ARK

Is DPOS better than PoW,
Answer:Yes

Is DPOS better than POS.
Answer: NO

Both are energy efficient.

DPOS makes the following claims of supposed advantages over POS.

Faster Confirmation Times
Higher Transaction Volume

Both are False Statements, as confirmation time & transaction volume are controlled by different specs.
IE: A faster block speed and larger block sizes increase those supposed advantages in either DPOS or POS.
So those are B.S.

Finally DPOS claims it has less incentive to centralize.
That one made me laugh, by assigning only designated delegates that control staking,
they are nothing but centralized.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

So in my opinion DPOS is inferior to POS.

You have to only look at the US Gov,
the elected delegates takes bribes and basically do what they want and the common man desires are ignored.
DPOS is based on the same flawed design.

In POS , Anyone can help determine the evolution of the coin and getting their voice heard.
It is evolution and cooperation in its most natural form.  Wink
