Early-Seed Speculators: What is the typical "Community Standard" for expectations on Early-Seed Investments?

If/When you grab an early-seed discount can you please tell ~ what type of return you expect short-term/once the events are over?
More importantly: Is it standard/acceptable to say (for example) early-seed [pre-ANN] Angel investors are so important you will be assured (based on the power of smart contracts) $500 ICO Credit for your early seed of only $100? (Edit: This would be called a deep-discount, correct?)

The numbers are just an example, and I am NOT creating a Ponzi.
Also not currently asking about "US-safe" (SEC), "China-safe" etc.
(Plain and simple) Based on current "Community Standards" an Early-Seed Speculator can be offered a specific discount towards the Big Event, returned in tokens.
Then what about return on BTC/ETH value can you offer them a "safe and easy" 300% return on Real$, for example?
Thanks for helping.
