For public health experts, the ability to properly analyze and collect a data and take action is paramount to contain the spread of a deadly epidemic caused by a new disease or virus.
But despite major advances in large data analysis, the process of collecting this information now takes a huge amount of time, says the head of software architecture at the Control Center and (CDC), an arm of the country's Department of Health responsible for preventing the spread of chronic diseases and epidemics.
In pursuit of a more effective solution, on the blockchain proof-of-concept technology, which he believes can bring greater speed and confidence in capturing epidemiological data in crisis situations.
