Hello all,
I've been working for more than half a year now on a new website called
https://howtomine.co. And yes, we are shamelessly borrowing the naming scheme from the famed whattomine.com. Like whattomine, we hope to become a no-nonsense and straightforward resource of high-quality information.
Basically, our goal is to be a resource for mining tutorials that is accessible for normal people who are now hearing about cryptocurrency (thanks to recent boom in Bitcoin price, obviously) and might want to mine coins rather than buy them. We don't want to only serve people who have existing familiarity with technology, but rather make mining accessible to all! We also hope to build a growing forum community where normal people can ask questions about their mining rigs and get free help from experts.
For now, the site is mostly focused on Ethereum and Monero mining, since those currencies are the most accessible for normal non-technologically-savvy people. Over time, we hope to expand our coverage to Bitcoin ASIC mining and staking for many currencies. For now, you can check out our "Mining Guide" for Ethereum: (
https://howtomine.co/how-to-mine-ethereum/) for an idea of what kind of content we offer.
We currently have a team of about 5 people working on creating content every day, and if you're interested in joining our team, you can send me an email at
hi@howtomine.co. Yes, this would be a crypto paid position. Just use the subject "How to Mine Contributor" and let me know why you think you'd be a good fit.
