I'm usually busy running my own but I think you're likely to get a lot of different answers here.
And really, does it even matter which ones are popular? IMHO you should just brows around, claim and see what you like.
Personally I'd recommend (at least initially) to stay away from faucets that require you to claim a certain amount before you can cash out. When you're new and not sure what you're looking for, it's better to use the faucets with instant payout since you're not sure if you're coming back or not. Later when you have a better understanding of what you're looking for you might want to give the faucets with a minimum withdraw limit a try but I'd save that for later.
I'd naturally claim that my faucets are the best, but really, it comes down to personal preferences and only you know what you like. And the only way to figure it out is by trying different faucets until you get a feeling for it.

It's not hard to tell which faucets on Faucethub are the most popular. You need to open Faucethub faucet list and there you can sort faucets by number of users or how much coins they paid in last week.
I don't have one or few favourite faucethub faucets. I'm trying to use almost all their faucets time from time in order to keep my personal faucet list updated. If faucet have higher than average rewards, it's loads fast and it don't have tons of popups and banner ads, I visit such faucet more often.

There are a lot of popular faucets on FaucetHUB, but The Good ones are just not on the list/Down on the list.

Those 2 i owe and they pay without timer and pay a lot , currently , i only owe Doge and btc faucets.

http://btczone.faucethero.com/ 10+ Satoshi Every Claim without TImer.

http://dogezone.faucethero.com/ 0.4-0.6 Doge Every Claim Without TImer.

As far as FH Is currently offline , test those on your free time(Later) and i assure you , you will add them to your Bookmarks because they are awesome Smiley

unfortunately, the best paying faucets are either short term becouse the owner will not be able to break even or even make a profit,
or those with pop-under and/or pop-ups. (like mine) or with a mandatory shortlink visit after clicking claim.

so if you dont mind geting pop-ups and mostly having to refresh faucet page becouse captcha will be invalid after a pop-under, you can claim quit a bit from the top faucets.

or search daily for the newest added faucets, where new fauceteers start of with bigger claims, and do not have the pop-ups yet, to attract traffic.

You need to use a good faucet list, a updated one. I like to use this: http://gameofbitcoins.com/

There you can see faucet's reward, timer, if it's paying or if it's out of funds, direct payment or not, kind of captcha...

That is the best way to avoid trash faucets and non paying faucets. Good earnings.

Everyone likes different things I guess, but here's my hand-picked list of faucets:

http://freecoyn.com/faucet-list/

I certainly use the ones at the top daily because I find consistently find them among the best-paying and they're reliable too.

Instead of using shameless self promotion, I'd like to speak directly to the owners of faucet lists or faucet rotators. Feel free to insert my faucetes in your lists/rotators, I could use more traffic and currently I'm seeing very few referrals among the claims.

And now for the OP, I'll be reintroducing my own faucet list in the coming week and I'll most likely figure out some way to rank the faucets. Most likely it'll have a feature so that you can submit your faucet favorites on the page as well. It's still a week or so out though. I have the code running smoothly but I still need to figure out the best way to sort the faucets and make a decent presentation. At some point in the coming weeks, I'll probably reintroduce my mining site as well. (Browser miner that pays in any of the crypto-currencies supported by Faucethub.io, code is operational but it needs a pretty face.)

As a general rule of thumb I'd suggest starting with Faucethub's own faucet list, and work your way down the list. Don't limit yourself to only claiming from the first page faucets, take your time and work your way down the list. A lot of the time you'll find the gems farther down the list. Many smaller faucets will offer better rewards to attract new traffic. And don't get too stuck in old habits, faucets are updated and changes frequently (I know I'm tweaking my own faucets daily). Just because a faucet didn't appeal to you a week or two ago, it doesn't mean that you won't like it today. Faucet updates can turn a weak faucet into a great one... So, go through the list on regular intervals to see if there are any interesting changes/updates.

Sounds like you've got some interesting plans in the pipeline. I'm looking forward to you introducing them.

In terms of the Faucethub list - I tend to give up quite quickly with it because I find so many of the faucets spammy or poorly paying. From what you say I guess I need to be more patient!

I have added you to my toplist However, I do not yet have much traffic. Amd also there are faucets  that offer more BTC per claim. I am checking the faucets in my list every day for changes. If yours offers more SAT per claim, I will be happy to move it up in the list.

Thanks, there's always the struggle between reward and revenues. I try to keep the rewards as high as I can while still breaking even. Don't forget to factor in the bonus links. Wink
