Hey everyone, I am trying to get in on the Bitcoin CRAZE. I have a few Raspberry pi's and would like to setup a little experiment using a few ASICMiner Block Erupter USB's. How would I go about doing this?

Is this a viable option for me?

should I use a better usb miner?

What would the return rate be?

Below is the amazon link to the usb miners. Is this a good starting point?

https://www.amazon.com/ASICMiner-Block-Erupter-USB-Sapphire/dp/B00CUJT7TO/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1507823136&sr=1-3&keywords=asic+usb&tag=ultrasurf-20

Only if you want to learn about mining works.

You're highly unlikely to ever make a profit from USB miners. You need a machine that runs hundreds of times the number of chips on the USB miner, that is a current generation chip.

You'd lose money in all likelihood, and never get a return on the cost of the Pi+ hardware + power.

These USB sticks are cheap for a reason - they're old and outdated.

I do not know how long it will take for you to recoup the costs. The complexity of bitcoin calculations is now very high. Only ASIC can get good income.
