Bot? Spammer? RIDICULOUS!

Got a quick question for you all..

Who exactly do I go to if I found a spamming bot on this forum? It may be a person but regardless it is pure spam, pure garbage. Please point me in the right direction so we can clean up the forum.

It may be a farmer but I dont think it seems like a SPAMMING BOT TO ME! Please help, thanks

Only you can do is to use "Report to moderator" link in their OP and try to describe the situation ( good to mention that not only that post but entire users is spammer).
Then it's up to mods to decide whether to ban the user.

I will do exactly that, good idea thanks. I will say this though stay on the lookout for SUPER GENERIC one liners. Then if you see it click their post history. These few "people" repeated 4

phrases every 6 min EXACTLY! I am not actively looking for spammers but if I see this trash I will report it. Please do the same, I enjoy coming here and talking thoroughly with you REAL people!

We would report it too, if you weren't such a pussbag and named the user who's doing this.  It's annoying that you're snitching and doing everything else except providing the most useful piece of information.  You shouldn't start topics like this unless you call the person/bot out by name.  Did you really not know the "report to moderator" button didn't exist?

sorry dudes, I did not know I was supposed to out the people. look at uf2458058zenq, tu0666047zish, and ue5397937zish . Names sound similar do they not first off...but wait till you see the post

history. literally the same phrases for all accounts. just hilarious, wouldnt be surprised if more of this person should up in the near future are yall happy now?

There have been hundreds of those @163.com accounts banned in the past. There was some serious farming going on in the Chinese section and they just used to do the rounds in there one after the other:



Just search @163.com in the memberlist and you'll see them all but there were many more that just had random character names and the @163.com email addresses which were hidden. Nothing is going to change until we get rid of signatures from ranks though. Account farming just gets more prevalent and profitable as time goes on.

I agree with this decision of the board. I have read more than 20 articles in the meta topic, but I found quite many duplicate articles like the hacker account has a lot of posts about it and I feel uncomfortable about this issue.
