How can I create a decentralized blockchain platform? Coding languages, aspects?

I have an excellent idea for a blockchain platform in an area/need that has not yet been addressed that I would like to jump on as soon as possible, as ideas are worthless without action. Preferably, like Ethereum seems to be, the platform should be decentralized or otherwise have a respective website/app (which would be centralized, but the tokens would not be) to which the tokens can be utilized. All input is greatly appreciated as I am otherwise stuck. If you have any resources which might help me out, please feel free to share them. Please correct me if I am wrong about anything; either I have had bad luck researching how to start a cryptocurrency/blockchain platform or crypto communities just tend to be more closed/technical, an outcome which has somewhat frustrated me given my otherwise quick learning.
