Sell your future social security income?

ive seen those annuity commercials for people that have future income and wish to get one lump sum early.

would that be possible with social security income?

i imagine it would work by selling the rights of future social security income, in exchange, you would either get a lump sum or get paid X% of your current social security tax payments.

thats just how i imagine how it would work.

thoughts?
