Mediterranean Coin (MED) used HybridScriptHash256 and although there is still a pool, the coin is pretty much dead now. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=397831.0

I liked the idea of combining sha256 with script and requiring some cpu power to prevent huge farms from controlling all the hashpower.  This helps prevent centralization and also allows the people with old or small rigs to effectively mine as well.  MED devs abandoned the project and the community kept it alive for a while, especially in China, but it is pretty much dead now.  Any other similar coins that I'm not aware of?  Or any devs who want to create one? Cheesy
