how many people here now crap themselves when using their wallets because there's so much value in them?

back in the day i never thought twice about throwing coins around. these days my heart starts hammering and my sight goes fuzzy restoring and moving wallets. i double and triple check every address, check seeds every time, run a million anti virus things even though they're hardware wallets. and i'm not even that rich.

how do the people with millions do it without cracking up completely? we all know a couple of wrong clicks can send everything into oblivion.

Surely world outlook  of millionere and ordinary  people is different,  and money  will change  you by all means,  I felt this on myself. no matter how much money you have to be careful when sending  money is very important

I have to admit I have not slept peacefully when I was holding my coins in desktop wallets and I decided to change that so I bought hardware wallet and send my coins there. Now I'm pretty sure that my private keys are in safe place and do not worry too much about that.

When sending anything I always check address few times and also check before sending on Ledger display, for me this is pretty safe way for storing and sending cryptocurrency.I think rich people perhaps only more keep an eye on all the steps when work with BTC and others coins.

We should think in a way that we own our coins,if they own as this may be a problem Smiley

I heard of some people that earned large sums of money in crypto investing and they are all quite paranoid of getting hacked.
I think you did the right thing by transferring to hardware wallet, run antivirus and double check addresses.
Not much more that you can do.

Oh yeah, I definitely check every bit of information when I'm transferring funds around, specially if I'm using a mixer to hide my identify. I also bookmark the site as to not get phished around and triple check everything before sending it. Even  sweeping and restoring as well gets me fuzzy. LOL. Your heart beats faster and a little nervous specially if it involves big amounts. I don't have millions though but I'm sure that those who have really double check everything. As what you have said bitcoin transaction is irreversible and one mistakes all of your hard earn bitcoin is gone somewhere.

Trevor and ledger are the main ones. There are also others like keepkey and digitalbox.

Personally I'd want one with the most development and eyes on it which is ledger and trezor.

MEW for alts and hardware wallet for BTC are best choices. But any way you should remember about fishings and other problems.

There's nothing wrong about being a bit paranoid when it comes to moving funds, better safe than to lose money. Bookmarking every web wallets and exchanges you use definitely helps, especially since cryptocurrencies keeps gaining popularity, there would be a lot more phishing schemes.

Your nerves will calm down once you pushed 80% or more of your coins into cold storage / paper wallets. The only time when

your nerves will give you the shits, is when you have to sweep some to a online wallet.  Roll Eyes I prefer to store small quantity of

coins to multiple wallets, to reduce the risk of losing everything in one hack.  Grin

For this business it is assumed that even though we are in our homes, we must have the most minimum care with everything we do, such as when we are going to make a bank transfer. We just have to keep in mind that just as we can earn a lot we can lose a lot, and so always with this present we will have the most minimum care for all the steps we take.

I too can't speak for the ones with millions but I assume that they have a fair amount of safeguards against something happening to their investment, such as setting up multiple backups and not using their wallets on a computer that might be infected or has the potential to. The sending od Bitcoin probably comes down to double- and triple-checking the address and making sure that everything is set up on both sides properly so they know their transaction will go through. Not being careless is one of the best things that anyone can do in order to make their Bitcoin experience mostly stress-free, and I have a feeling that anyone who gets to such a point is surely quite careful with their work.
