Current market cap stands at about 280 billion USD with bitcoin price 6400 $ and having a market dominance of 45.7%.Are investors showing preference for btc or are we going back to 240B$?

The market dominance is not something reliable to consider. Everyone could create a coin with a 30 trillion supply and send it one sell in an exchange
Bitcoin hasn't failed to $6400, the lowest is about $7300
