[ANN] HcashWallet GUI Beta Version User Guide

Notice: HashWallet GUI mainnet test version is only for test. The Hcash from CPU solo mining, CPU mining or transactions, is only for test.

1. Download HcashWallet GUI mainnet test version

Download address: https://github.com/HcashOrg/hcashwallet/releases

Please download the latest version. Windows_X64 version can be running on 64-bit Windows. Windows_X86 version can be running on 32-bit Windows. MacOS version can be running on MacOS.

2. Create wallet

Step 1: Press “Create wallet” button

Step 2: Setting up wallet password

Step 3： Copy wallet seed, and save your seed in your personal computer. The seed is important, and keep it secret. It is used for recovering wallet.

Step 4: After creating wallet successfully, HcashWallet will go to home page.

3. Two methods to get Hcash for test

Method 1：CPU solo mining Step 1：Setting CPU PoW mining threads Step 2: Press start, and start CPU mining

Method 2: Request Hcash for test from Dev. team Please send your hcash wallet address to hypercash@qq.com or hypercashcn@gmail.com (please choose only one email address). And then Dev. team will send you 100 hcash for test.

4. Buy PoS ticket for PoS mining

Note: Fees for buying PoS ticket is only locking, it will return and can be spendable after 40960 key blocks. After your ticket is selected, you will receive PoS reward.

5.Transfer Hcash

6. Test Post-Quantum feature Hcash mainnet supports post-quantum feature which is more secure. Hcash mainnet is flexible that it supports both Post-Quantum and unPost-Quantum features. HcashWallet address with prefix “Hb” is used for post-quantum feature, and HcashWallet address with prefix “Hs” is used for unpost-quantum features. Currently, Post-Quantum feature is only running on console window.

Step 1: Go into console window

Step 2: list wallet post-quantum account (default account name for post-quantum: postquantum, command: hcashctl --wallet listaccounts)

Step 3: Get Post-Quantum wallet address: (Post-Quantum address is with prefix “Hb”. Command: hcashctl --wallet getnewaddress “postquantum”)

Step 4: Transfer hcash to Post-Quantum address (command: hcashctl --wallet sendtoaddress “Hbxxxxxx” “amount”)

And then you can verify postquantum account balance with command: hcashctl --wallet getbalance)

7. Recover Wallet

We can use HcashWallet seed to recover your previous HcashWallet and get back your Hcash. Press “Create wallet” buttom Recover Wallet Setting password Copy and paste seed to recover wallet

Here is the whitepaper of Hcash, and you can find the information you want in the white paper.
Hcash has a finite supply of tokens. The supply closes to 84
million, and will be separated into six channels:
• 21 million (25%) will be created by PoW;
• 21 million (25%) will be created by PoS;
• ICO and free distribution will account for 21 million (25%);
• Pre-ICO investors will hold 12.6 million (15%);
• 4.2 million (5%) will belong to the development team & Hcash
fund,
• 4.2 million (5%) will be allocated to Hcash-DAO.

What is the algo?  Can this be GPU mined?

Default account adopts ECDSA algo, and quantum-resistance account adopts BLISS algo. It can be CPU mined.
