Help Setting Up Mining Pool

Hi Everyone,
I am looking for some help or guides on setting up an Electroneum mining pool on CentOS, I can find loads for Ubuntu server but none for CentOS. Is there a reason why everyone seems to use Ubuntu Server and no other Linux Distros?

I am setting this up at home for test purposes before I build it on my dedicated servers which are in data centers.

So any help, guides and advice would be much appreciated.
