You can try begging. Just post a request for free bitcoins on every post on the forums multiple times a day. Eventually someone will give you coins to stop. Then sell your forum account for more coins. Rinse and repeat.

You probably work for a living and have acquired some useful skills, e.g. writing or HTML coding.

Try offering these services online in exchange for payment in Bitcoin.

One way is to use a GPU to mine using CGMiner:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.msg2397710#msg2397710

You can also buy them at an exchange such as BTC-E:

Well mining is out of date if you do not have a good graphic card already

Buy them it will be easier, but before spent a lot of time on this forum, wiki and other webside to learn all the details about BTC

One way is to use faucets. http://coinfaucets.tk is an automatic timer and rotator for them so you can easily keep up with their cooldowns and get more coins as they come up.

Message for info on how to get kickbacks on sites like Nano (above) and CryptoPlay!

You either buy them or you mine them. Buying is easier. Go to mtgox.com, open an account, transfer money to your account on mtgox, use the money there to buy bitcoins. Then you own bitcoins. You can then transfer these bitcoins from your mtgox account to your personal wallet very easily.
