Bitcoin talk is just that for bitcoin talk. The moderators and owners want to focus on bitcoin. They do not want to give preferential treatment to any coins and I believe that is the way it should be. The altcoin section is too cluttered because they dont add a sub forum for each coin. They are about bitcoin talk. The amount of content is more than enough for a completely separate site. I get that bitcointalk is the epicenter of the crytpo currency revolution. But there is no reason all of the alt coins should be shoved into one section. There is also no reason for each coin to have its own forum with little volume and the cost of maintaining a site.

JimmyK has starte a great site to handle all of these challenges. Each coins has its own dedicated sub forum. User can integrate their own blog. It has a social networking side with status updates and so on. He has put a lot of work into the site and it looks amazing and functions perfectly. He is constantly adding new features and keeping the info of every coin up to date all by himself really.

Here is what I think would work out perfect. Why create a dedicated forum for each coin? It will have lower traffic and generally less conversation. Each coins forum could be the dedicated sub forum on cryptocointalk. It would make sense for the dev or a strong supporter to take over the sub forum as a moderator and have that be the central forum for the community. It would keep the arguments between coin supporters and criticizers to a minimum and allow for better conversation.

The site has a few dedicated followers such as myself that see a real need for a site such as this. The owner of cryptocointalk.com did not in anyway ask for me to do this. I have seen the work he has put in and the final product that came out. I really like the site and hope it brings a calm to the storm here.

Anyways that's my 2 cents. Its a great site come check it out Smiley

absolutely agree, you right, bitcointalk is for bitcoin talking,..... but............... here is  Alternate cryptocurrencies section (this mean something to you?) and i think, and i hope not to be wrong, we are in the right place to talking about litecoin, bqqcoin, digital coin, or whatever other altcoin.

if you need more visit or more registered user for your forum (its your forum, isnt?) plaece dont use this place for do it, this sub-forum is for other things, thanks Smiley

I was simply stating the alt coin section is filled with junk on top of the usefull information. If you dont see the point in a site like this I thank you for expressing your opinion. I was trying to say  that bitcoin talk is for bitcoin. They put all the altcoins in one subsection because it is not their main focus. Cryptocointalks main focus is altcoins.

I believe a lot of people are looking for a site that manages it all better. It is not my site but I do use it a lot. I find the site very useful and wanted to share my opinion.

I am curious why this would deserve an ignore?
