Hi,
I bought them through Idacoin but then couldn't work out what to do with them and did nothing at all...probably foolishly... as I couldn't work out how to send them to a wallet. Contacting Idacoin now they told me I had moved them to a new wallet
...
Hi
You are talking about indacoin rigt?
If you had moved BTC to other than your adreess then those bitcoins are lost. Maybe your indacoin account has been hacked and hacker sent your BTC to his wallet.
...
(they sent me a string of numbers which match a bitcoin address on blockchain
...
Thats most likely the address where the funds were sent from your account (either by you or by hacker).
... and I can see the transaction there
...
What you see is transaction on blockchain. Blockchain is publicly accessible (anybody can check this transaction if he knows the tx id). You can share it if you want (maybe someone could track the hacker).
...
It seems to show how much they are worth now
....
That's probably it. Which Blockchain explorer you use?
...
There is a button saying request payment or donate button. I don't know if I can still acess these bitcoins.
...
Those are tools to ease accepting BTC. It's for webmasters mostly.
I don't know if I can still acess these bitcoins.
I affraid you can't access them anymore
