Based on the popular movie ‘Fight Club’ starring Brad Pitt, we thought it would be fun to introduce the rules for the Bitcoin Club.

1st RULE: You own at least SOME bitcoin at all times.

2nd RULE: You own at least some bitcoin at ALL times.

3rd RULE: Only sell bitcoin because you want to spend the money now (save the rest for long-term profit).

4th RULE: Buy small amounts of bitcoin regularly to accumulate more.

5th RULE: Wait for people to ask you about Bitcoin, don’t force it on them.

6th RULE: You happily share why you are interested in bitcoin (ask if they’ve heard of it, tell them you’ve been learning about it, and then send some cool content).

7th RULE: When you sell or spend your bitcoin, you do so with a reputable provider, because you’ve heard of way too many scams and you’d rather be safe than lose your bitcoins.

8th RULE: Stay up to date about bitcoin personal finance (because it is our future).

Taken from this site here...

Do I need to say more? Anyway, these eight rules speak a big volume of common sense and experience taken from many years of being involved with Bitcoin. Sometimes we forget common sense as we are dealing with the non-stop deluge of life's challenges and stressors.

I was officially introduced into Bitcoin just last year and within this short period of time Bitcoin has risen so fast and multiplied itself many times. My journey in cryptocurrency is mired with happy experiences as well as getting shocked when I found out that my MEW account was hacked due to phishing. Oh well, I have now moved on and is now extra careful with what I do online. So should you be.

Happy learning, everyone!

This is pretty funny...it looks like rule #1 and rule #2 are basically redundant, with only a different word being emphasized. At any rate, it's not a bad set of guidelines; I am pretty much following all of these so far according to my experience with bitcoin. Perhaps we could also call it something like "The Hodler's Creed" or "Rules of the Devoted Bitcoin Hodler". Smiley

1. Makes sense considering this is how we will take over the dollar.
2. ... OK, got it! lol
3. This is wrong. Bitcoin should be used in the exact same way we use fiat. Use it for everyday purchases, as well as savings.
4. Alright, can get behind this.
5. True
6. Don't be too overbearing though. People get turned off when things are too complicated.
7. This is obvious for anyone who has been involved with Bitcoin for a while, but definitely still needs to be repeated over and over.
8. Of course!

ACCOUNT RECOVERED 4/27/2020. Account was previously hacked sometime in 2017. Posts between 12/31/2016 and 4/27/2020 are NOT LEGITIMATE.

indeed we should always be careful in acting, especially in online sites that are likely to be more dangerous. always learn from experience

This list of rules says it all. I've learned these as I get expose to Bitcoin. Even though I am not yet that too exposed, I've learned most of these. Everyday is a learning ground for each one of us about Bitcoin.
Maybe the rule #1 and #2 should be combined since they are the same statement. Just put emphasis on both idea, the "SOME" and "ALL". That would make 7 rules. A sweet number for money and luck Cheesy

I'd change 4th rule from "Buy small amounts of bitcoin regularly to accumulate more." to "Earn HUGE amounts of bitcoin regularly to accumulate more." It would be much better!!!

Yes it could be better that way because buying bitcoin is pretty expensive and earning it is more preferable. As for me, I am earning not that huge amount of bitcoin but I am accumulating as much as I could because it might be too late then if I would just start later on. I am already behind in this world because I also just have known it last year but I am continuously learning to accumulate some more coins may it be in bitcoin or altcoin. There are so many opportunities in here that even if there are so many member in this forum, somehow you can find a way to earn.

As for the rule of not forcing anyone to be involved in bitcoin, I agree with this because if ever they lose their funds instead of gaining, you will end up being blamed for their own loss. You have done share your share of sharing the information about it and its up to them how to act about it.

Rule #3 will get you fucked up, LOL.

You might want to sell if you see a dip coming, at least try to speculate against an oncoming loss of profit if you can see it. bitcoin has priced itself damned near out of the affordable investment place. seeing as how it isnt so nifty to buy bitcoin anymore, you are only going to accumulate if you earn, or speculate. i wouldnt suggest going into it like a pro trader if you dont know what you are doing. but at least try, or relegate yourself to the fact that while your fiat value may grow, your coins will get lonely and stagnate with no company Smiley

This post is both true and very silly I love it. I was out explaining bitcoin on the street to people after work and am laughing my butt off. Thanks for sharing I might have to copy/ paste this to a text file.

The 9th rule of Bitcoin Club is that you do not talk about Bitcoin Club. The 10th rule of Bitcoin Club is that you DO NOT talk about Bitcoin Club.

...mostly because this is kind of lame. What's the point? Clubs are for kids, right? It's kind of funny though. I don't get the 5th Rule...if we wait for people to ask we leave the growth adoption in the hands of people who...don't care or know about Bitcoin!

This is definitely true to all bitcoin users. Some would provide their own golden rule but yeah if you exactly stick to it that will does it. I will set my own rule too but if I get used to this bitcoin and if I generate stakes. Smiley
