Stay away from Gemini!!! They have become a mess!!

I have been quite a big supporter of Gemini over the past year, especially when they compare with Coinbase, but can no longer recommend after my recent experience.

I sent over a wire from an account which I used multiple times before and yet, this time around, they appear to either be overwhelmed with the amount of processing they are doing or become grossly incompetent. One rep claims that they received it, but because the name in the wire message did not match my account name (which is impossible as I have used the account dozens of times before and confirmed with my bank), they are in the process of sending it back. Another rep claims that they never received it at all! What the hell is going on??? As soon as these exchanges start getting serious business, they decide to either cut corners and either remain understaffed OR they are deliberately trying to fuck over their customers (i.e. Coinbase with the whole Bitcoin Cash debacle).

I am now entangled in this whole chasing, while missing out on multiple opportunities. To be honest, I am starting to believe that the Crypto world needs regulation and regulators to put people like them in check when they decide to slack off or misbehave. Other recent examples include the whole Tezos infighting, greediness taking over the BTC foundation. How can we hope that Crypto can go mainstream if it is the wild wild west and there are rampant scams and manipulation and negligence going on??
