Hi there, I have 2 GPUs of this:

https://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/6GB-Gigabyte-GeForce-GTX-1060-Windforce-OC-Aktiv-PCIe-3-0-x16--Retail-_1117373.html

and want to set them with one of the two computers which are:

- HP 8200 elite minitower the motherboard number is E93839 and FXN1 or

- HP computer product number is QB165EA#BED, motherboard number D33D66 and N14939

Which adapter is best suited for this set up (considering the GPUs and motherboards)?

Moreover, I also have available this adapter:

https://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/650-Watt-Corsair-CS-Series-CS650M-Modular-80--Gold_942714.html

is there a way to modify it to work with the mentioned GPUs and motherboards from above? Or is it useless for this set up?

I am really thankful for any help!

It is easy to do, you only have to remove the case from your Elite minitower, install the GTX 1060 in the PCIEX16 slot, I am afraid you have do some tweaks to cables of the motherboard as that is an old computer. The other card you can install with a riser, that motherboard , almost everyone of HP has at least 1 PCIEX1 slot which you can use this riser to connect and make it PCIEX16. The power supply is way more powerful than needed for just 2 xGTX 1060 cards.

Thanks. But what do you mean by tweaks to cables? How can I do that, is there any tutorial available?

You don't need any tweaking from cables I see, you just need those risers adapters I told you earlier and you need to install each of those 2 cards with risers , and to keep the cards in the open which I see you have space as you have your case open. Just 2 of those adapters and you will be good to go. Keep in mind that you need a good PSU like Corsair which even the VS 550 can hold just 2 cards but if you are looking to extend later as that motherboard can keep 3 GPU-s you better get a Coolermaster or Thermaltake 700watt GOLD certified with 4X 6+2 pin connectors.

For the moment you are good to go, just install the 2 cards with risers and change the PSU if you have the original HP one as that one is not powerful enough to run two good cards like those you have.

Thanks for the research! You are right, the problem is that the motherboard has this funny 6-pin switch and it seems that the cable from the youtube might help. This is how the motherboard looks like:
