I have 4 1060s here with a power supply in the mail. I happen to have an old ga-ep45-ud3r with e8400 and 8GB RAM. What are my chances it will even boot with 4 GPUs attached (with risers of course)?

Chances are, you can get to boot the 4GPU, otherwise, you can only do it with 2-3 only. Install this one at a time, and you must have a decent PSU.

Guess i will find out! heh. Hopping it works so i dont have to spend another $100+ on CPU/MB/RAM.

its a 64bit cpu
I will recommend using windows 7 64bit latest version for best support
windows 7 works the best with older motherboard

your mob has one x16 pcie and three x1 pcie so with a little bit bios modding
it should support 4 gpus
get a psu with gold rating
like seasonic 750w gold or corsair rm750x

Cool. Thanks. I was just worried an old board might not want to do it. So, decided to try it first before buying new MB/CPU/RAM. Shorter ROI heh Cheesy
