As far as poster boys go, I think Jamie Dimon will forever be memorialized as our community's 'Village Idiot' - AKA 'the Bitcoin Idiot'.

We couldn't have a more dopey mascot than that.  lol.

It's a shame but I really think he's rubbishing Bitcoin for the attention more than actually giving his opinion. He know's he'll get a lot of backlash by attacking it.

I dont think that would be appropriate to describe Jamie Dimon. Though he makes bad criticism about bitcoin but he isnt an idiot but a dangerous thinker. Using his  mind he have made thousands of bitcoin users to dump their coins so he can buy them. The idiots are those who believe and has no faith on bitcoin. At the end of the dump Jamie is laughing while the dumpers regrets.

Jamie Dimon is no idiot. He spread Bitcoin FUD for his company to be able to buy bitcoins at lower prices. That's a smart move. Fraud would be a far more accurate adjective.

that's one way to look at this scenario. but we really don't know what his real intentions are.
and yes, you can't call a person an idiot just because he gave his opinion to something. we don't know him personally so he might have reasons why he said that. at the end of the day, we're not giving him money to buy his food, right?

Hm I honestly don't think he has touched BTC, I think he's genuinely afraid of BTC possibilities

In business there ethical rules. It can be achieved by any legal means result. Before to accuse him of fraud need to be able to distinguish truth from nonsense. Besides, no one knows they're buying bitcoin or not. Maybe he really thinks so. What these idiots a little?

At this moment (2017) but for sure a new “bitcoin idiot” will replace him on (2018) next year. We all know that most CEO of our banking system are high on they’re pride and insecurity about bitcoin success is hunting them even while sleeping. Then they’re will be more Jamie Dimon “idiotlike” that may surface every year.

Jaime is just giving out his own opinion so lets just give him the benefit of the doubt. We are not even sure if Jamie also has a bitcoin wallet. But one thing is for sure. Bitcoin is Immortal!

I help small and medium business owners increase brand awareness by creating engaging content, customer support, managing email marketing, and implementing automation.

Probably does and is trying to use his fame to get more publicity so that Bitcoin rises in price.

He will not be branded anymore as a bitcoin idiot if he will just start investing in bitcoin right now, who knows he already did it and contributed to the increasing demand of bitcoin in which as a result bitcoin value reach $5,000. This guy is nothing now we just move on and try to concentrate to the banks coming movements to bring down the bitcoin as they are already experiencing the big threat of the digital currencies.

But if he buys bitcoin and negelcting his own comments, then i think he is an idiot still but at least he helped what he was trying to put down. Because it is not just Jamie that is making bad comments on btc. Their are several people also saying btc is just a bubble and after sometime it will just become scam. More people are even giving comments when china banned trading. I dont see much comments now that the price went up to 6k.

his skills makes him more billionaire, making criticism with bitcoin allow him to accumulate more as panic dumpers believes with his influence so every
bad words he made make an impact for those followers, so i always look for any updates regarding to his statement and go in the other way.

You're either very new to the Bitcoin community or have been living under a rock Tongue

Jamie Dimon has openly called Bitcoin a fraud and it was all over Bitcoin related news media and mainstream news the last month or so.
There have also been a number of follow up articles.
