Does anyone know why simplemining OS dag fix(linux) does not give as high hasrate as Windows 10?

For example,
I used a custom rom to flash the cards, modded on windows,

with the new DAG driver fix on WINDOWS 10, it's 29.5Mh/s on boot, with overclock, I get 31.5 Mh/s on my RX 580 8gb.
with the new DAG driver fix on Simplemining OS, it's 26.5Mh/s on boot, with overclock, I get 28.5 Mh/s on my RX 580 8gb.

why is this the case?
does anyone know?
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

I understand the windows dag fix driver came first,

Is there even an official linux version out?

Are you verifying actual hashrate on the pool side for both of these? Just because one miner executable is reading higher than the other does not mean its actually faster. What matters is what is being successfully seen by the pool.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Hey after the simpleos dag fix update.  Is everyone getting back the hashrates as before? I been too lazy to get around to this, but i should. Ive only just recently heard about this update a few days ago.
Anyways, would i need to go out and purchase new usb sticks again? Or can i flash the old ones.
