Cboe, the Chicago-based exchange operator that's home to the largest options exchange in the US, recently partnered with Gemini, a digital assets exchange started by Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, to roll out bitcoin futures by this year or early next.

This is another step towards going mainstream.

Yes is official that the digital coins are catching up with the rest of the financial world. And with this new study made by the Bank of America, showed that opportunity to reach $1.6 billions of revenue for online exchange markets. Knowing that of course all the big institutions want a cut of it. So this new co-operation between the Cboe and Gemini was a bit expected. And surely more to come.

This will jolt the price of Bitcoin.

This is not only an opportunity for Cboe, it’s also an opportunity for StockBet as it will increase the betting activity of Bitcoin on StockBet.  Not everyone in the world can bet on the options exchange.
