ethereum POS casper update

Hello,

I have some questions about the upcoming POS update for ethereum :

1) When POS is implemented, no more coins will be generated, rewards will only be from fees?

2) To be part of the POS process, do you just have to put your funds (ethereum) locked in an account to validate new blocks and you will get your proportional share of the rewards(fees)?

I have done some research on the web but it seems that there are no clear unswer to those questions. What do you think?
