Hey everyone, I hope this thread is in the correct category.

So I'm sure most of you are already familiar with Bsai.io, the trading competition. I've been using it casually for a few months, and this is the 5th competition I've participated in (currently on the site's 25th contest). I was hoping to get some input from someone in-the-know about the particulars of the rules of the contest.

I've never really done particularly well on Bsai; rarely getting much profit and never placed any higher on the leaderboards than in the 300s. Well, I was feeling pretty jazzed this time around since I've managed to make a very significant amount of profit so far. Quite a bit more, in fact, than I've ever seen on the contest leaderboards...

Now, with about 11 hours to go in this round, I'm starting to get a bit concerned, considering that I managed to do this very easily within just a couple days of visiting the site for a couple hours or so.. I began to wonder if it was broken, or if I was unknowingly exploiting something, since as far as I can tell, anyone on the site could easily do the same thing I'm doing and make much more profit than I have.

I noticed one of the trading rules: "The ultra-short, high-frequency and scalping trading orders are prohibited on Bsai. All of the profits made using these methods will be cleared because they are not real market reaction."

I don't really have much experience with legitimate crypto-trading, so I was wondering if someone might be able to clarify what sort of activity this rule is describing exactly? Basically what I've been doing is paying attention to up/down fluctuations of a coin, buying as much as I can afford when it fluctuates downward, then selling it all when it goes up again. And doing that over and over again. Is this the behavior they are warning against? If so, are traders just supposed to ignore the fluctuations and ensure there's a reasonable amount of time left between buying and selling a coin?  Huh

If not, I'll see you on the leaderboards!  Cool
